The cliffs are mainly made of red sandstone, an extremely friable rock that can easily break away from the rock face. For the safety of our customers, and in accordance with the requirements of Aventure Écotourisme Québec (AEQ), of which we are a member, we do not enter the caves as part of our guided activities.
